Queensway – Caledonian Gloss Kitchen

We were contacted by our client early part of 2021 to take a look at their open plan kitchen diner. They had recently brought a new home which they planned to extend and renovate to become their family home.

Our client had already been to another designer so they had an initial idea of what they wanted to achieve which was tweaked by our designers to create the best use of space. Using our CAD technology we were able to create several designs in any colours the client desired to make the decision of their final design and colour palette.

The extension to the property had a slight step inwards so we had to work out a way to bring the two spaces together into one kitchen that was functional. The existing outer wall would need a small section to be left to support the property, our clients weren’t too keen on this being seen. We designed a larder to fit around this wall section which from the front looked like an ordinary larder but internally had ‘L’ shaped shelfs to ensure storage was still there. Due to our bespoke nature we were able to accommodate this and manufacture an entirely unique unit to utilise the space perfectly.

Our client wanted an extra modern 2 tone kitchen to fit in with the rest of the house. Our Caledonian Gloss range was perfect to create the handle less modern look and the mirror like gloss matched it.

In the island we used J handle shaped end panels and corner posts to create the handless look all the way around the island.

We finished this kitchen off with a white marble quartz which matched our clients bathroom worktop tying it all in together.

This was such a great project to work on with our client commenting – cannot believe this is our kitchen, thank you so much heart of home designs!
