We approached Sarah via her Instagram account she had set up to document her Barn Renovation, previously used as a Cattle Barn. They decided to make use of the derelict building by completely refurbing it so it can be used for family and friends when they come to stay.

We were sent over the plans and any requirements for the Kitchen space and quickly began the design process, creating several different ideas that were then presented to Sarah. We discussed which would work best in the space for how they wanted to use it, putting together a design that was both practical and something that fulfilled their wants too.

Our Chorleywood Range showcased here in Indigo Blue, fits the theme of the Barn well in keeping within the feel of the property but also highlighting the clients love for bold, statement colours. Also fulfilling the uniqueness of this space is the Gold accents which can be seen in the handles, tap and even the internal magnetic catches for the large Larder.

This project was something completely different for us, it challenged us as ‘level’ or ‘straight lines’ are not words to be used when it comes to a Barn but that’s precisely what makes it special and unique! We cannot wait to return to design the Kitchen for the main house when the time comes!
