Our client approached us in 2021 while they were awaiting the exchange and completion of their new home, which required full internal renovation. Once they were in their new home, we arranged a design consultation to discuss what we could offer them as a small family-run company and what they required to achieve from the space in both design and practicality.
We quickly decided on a rough layout for both the Kitchen and Utility room and therefore had a clear vision of what we wanted the design to include; a peninsular breakfast bar, the hob on that back wall, location of sinks and a tall larder to hide a soil pipe which due to all of our units being Bespoke, we were able to manufacture a unit to fit this exactly so no space was lost internally.
Now we had the layout secured, we turned our attention to the finer details. The colour of this space was discussed extensively to ensure the final choice was perfect. Our client was skeptical that going for a darker coloured door would not work in the space and since there was a wall to be taken down, which would lighten up the space dramatically, it was hard to picture how it would look. We were able to use our CAD program to show the final layout in various different colours to help make that decision easier. We also provided materials for our client to keep so they could see how the colour would work in the space. Our client decided to go with Farrow and Ball’s Moles Breath with our Chorleywood Modern range for both rooms and paired with Gold handles and taps, this became the perfect choose for the space.
Both rooms are finished perfectly with Dekton Helena Worktops which with their high gloss finish, is the most exquisite finish to these beautiful spaces. We are over the moon with the finished look of both rooms which will supply our client with a lifetime of memories in their new home!
