Great Baddow Project

We were contacted by Ann and Alan to revamp their existing Kitchen by adding in an island and changing all the doors and worktops. Their original Kitchen had a Black and White Gloss theme with Black Quartz Worktops. The main goal of this design was to lighten the space up by removing the dark doors and worktops to create a lighter, traditional look.

They previously had a range cooker which they wanted to remove and replace with a tall oven housing for a Neff Slide and Hide Oven with a new Induction Hob to be placed above a draw stack in the space of their old oven. This tall unit provided them with the space to also have an Integrated Microwave above. We worked with the client to ensure the height of both appliances not only worked for them now but also for future years. Moving their cooking appliances into this tall housing provided them with extra storage both above and below the appliances but also draw space under their new Hob.

We decided to replace the existing wall units as their previous cupboards were a little to high. We provided them with units that were taller and fitted lower to ensure that all the internal space was utilised. Where the new plate rack unit is, there used to be some open shelfs which we decided to replace with a feature for their lovely crockery.

The new island consists of an extra bin unit, wine rack and draw stack for further storage. We added an additional tall open unit to the preexisting run and placed an open display unit above the new Fridge Freezer. This Kitchen has been finished with beautiful White Quartz Worktops to compliment these timber Shaker style doors painted in Silver Grey from our colour palette.

This space has been really transformed and is now a brilliant contrast to the previous look of the Kitchen. Our client is over the moon with the finished product!
